Creativity and Connection
EDUCATOR, ADVISOR, ARTIST
Hello!
I am an anthropologist, artist, and teacher trained in preventing and treating compassion fatigue and trauma.
I am Program Director for the Lifefinding Program at the Wayfinding Academy. Designed for mid-career and retired adults, the program creates the conditions for creative introspection and the formulation of clear action items moving forward.
As a faculty member of University of Portland’s School of Nursing, I am developing a sustainable practice of self-care for health providers.
I am a founding member of Intangible, an organization dedicated to advancing the practice of creative insight by sharing the theory, research, and practice of the Intangible Framework.
I also help individuals access their creativity, vitality and direction via my Navigation Program.
I have published academic works, poetry, and science fiction.
My art has been featured and sold at a few shows. Check it out.
Also, I teach feast-oriented cooking classes at places like NUNM, Cookshop, and people’s homes. Sometimes I cook on TV on KATU’s Afternoon Live. Good times!
